Gentle Paws the Beginning...
We are a pet care provider that believes your special family member deserves the love and attention we can provide in both healthy times and times of sickness.
We want to provide a safe and comfortable
environment for your pets while you are away, yet we also want to provide the
love and dignity each sick or elderly pet needs.
We are not a veterinary
service but we will provide the comfort and assistance you and your family
members need in order to give the level of care each of your pets
deserve.
I have had a passion, caring for animals as long as I can
remember, I was the kind of child that would bring home a stray animal and beg
my mother to let me keep and care for it. I got this very special talent and
enthusiasm from my mother herself at an early age. Growing up we had ducks,
rabbits, cats and dogs, hamsters and birds. With this passion I began pet
sitting for everyone who would let me, caring for cats, dogs, birds, horses,
goats, a bull if you can believe it! And later on I joined other companies and
did pet sitting for pay.
This passion then turned into helping Rescue's and doing my
own rescues. A friend moved and could not take her snake with her, Hiss then
became one of my rescue's. Iggy the iguana as well, three lovely personality
filled cockatiels and many cats and dogs along the way as well. I have loved
each and every rescue that has come into my life and it was one of my wonderful
but ailing rescue's named Beagle Bailey that helped me make the final decision
to create my own business and offer something many have a hard time coping with
and that is hospice care. It is hard to watch and help an ailing friend but I
want to offer the kind of care and service we all want for our family members
whether they are sick or healthy.
I have a veterinary assistant certification, I am a first responder with much experience caring for older pets as well as young ones.
Thank You for your interest in my company, I hope you have enjoyed the experience, Please feel free to e-mail me your comments and suggestions.
